The Government provides a range of benefits for people who are out of work or unable to work due to a long-term health condition. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) requires health information about people who are claiming benefits.
Capita carries out Health Assessment Advisory Service assessments on behalf of DWP. The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an individual's health condition or disability affects their ability to work.
After the assessment, DWP makes the decision as to whether the individual will receive any benefits.
All of our healthcare professionals have at least two years' post-qualification experience, are registered with their respective Medical Body and are approved by DWP.
